Gah! I am in love!
I was just checking out Third Coast Preppy's blog and she was showing off this FAB madras lined hoodie from Nantucket Brand.
I must have. Am buying NOW!
And - my luck is that TODAY they are having a HUGE hoodie sale! Yay!
TCP even has a super special 25% off code that is good until Aug. 15th: thirdcoast - so, go - go, get yours now!
Hopefully, the medium fits my ape arms (tall = long arms!)!

The Power of Teamwork
Of course, if you've been reading for a bit - you know about my love of the Philadelphia Phillies.
There is one thing about the Phils that I find unique in the world of professional sports. These guys truly perform as a team. I chalk their 2008 World Series victory to this teamwork and I applaud it, too. Sadly, teamwork isn't something you see too much of anymore in our ME ME society.
While I was at the game last night, I noticed that a grounds crew member was wearing a sandwich board sign telling all the fans to vote for Shane Victorino to be put on the NL All Star team. I thought this was a fun gesture and it made me smile.
But, then - this morning, when I read my local newspaper - I found out that the man in the sandwhich board was NOT a grounds crew member but a fellow Phillie, Chan Ho Park.

For some reason, this act of comaraderie was really impressive to me.
Good job, again, guys.
Good luck, Shane.
